HANNO’S COUNTRY BUTCHERY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By proceeding with your click and collect or delivery you are agreeing to these terms and conditions

1.1 – Delivery T/C
Subject to payment to Hanno’s Country Butchery, we will deliver the goods to the address stated on your purchase invoice.
We do not ship to P.O boxes!
All orders processed will be delivered on the day of your preference, at the checkout.
We do recommend delivery should be done on a day someone is not home to collect. Our trucks are refrigerated and temperatures are monitored before and during transport. If you have any concerns, purchasing icepacks can be done at the checkout. However, due to the elements we will not be liable for food spoiling if no-one is home to collect.

1.2 – Returns / Refund policy:

RETURNS
Due to the nature of our products offered, we do not accept returns. As per Food Standards Australia Website, once a perishable product has left our control, we have no liability over the quality of the product.

REFUNDS
You can make a claim for a refund if:

  • You notify us within 12 hours of receiving the order

  • Have proof of purchase of the product you are making a claim on

  • Provide a clear photo of the damaged goods.

Email: hannosorders@hotmail.com or call head office on (07) 3801 3912 to lodge your claim. Upon receiving your claim, we will assess it to ensure the claim fits the specified criteria. If a claim meets the specified criteria, we will be happy to provide a refund.

INFORMATION COLLECTION
Use of information you have provided us with, or that we have collected and retained relating to your use of our services, is governed by our Privacy Policy.  By using these services, you agree to the Privacy Policy.

CONFIDENTIALITY
All personal information you give us will be dealt with in a confidential manner in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

GOVERNING LAW
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) and Australian Consumer Law (ACL), Australia.  Any disputes concerning this are to be resolved by the courts having jurisdiction in Queensland.
We retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these Terms and Conditions, in your country of residence or any other appropriate country or jurisdiction

  • other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular, for the following reasons:

  • Internal record keeping.

  • We may use the information to improve our products and services.

  • We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.

1.4 - Please note that we do not portion this pack down to specific weights, they will come as advertised.

All the products in this pack will come vacuum sealed for maximum freshness. We do not use any preservatives in these items, so it is recommended to freeze items upon delivery if you do not wish to consume them within the next 2 days following delivery.
Our online orders are packed neatly in a thick cardboard box which are recyclable*.

FAQS:
Can the courier enter my gate?
Our couriers will not enter a property that is closed off by a gate unless specified in the order notes. This is due to their personal safety.
If there is a dog on your premises and they do not feel comfortable entering then they will leave the box in the safest spot possible, out of reach of your pet

What if I’m not home when the delivery is made?
Our delivery driver will leave it in a safe location for you. However, we highly recommend that someone be home as the foods safety is subject to the elements.

Are ice packs provided in order box?
No, our trucks are refrigerated and temperatures are monitored before and during transport. If you have any concerns, purchasing icepacks can be done at the checkout.

What if something is wrong with my delivery?
While our staff at Hanno’s Country Butchery pride ourselves on quality and assurance, sometimes things go wrong. If you need help or have any questions, please contact us here.
